Your information
Privacy notice.
This notice explains how we use information from this website and enquiries sent to us. For information stored on your device, see our cookie notice.
Who is responsible
RMA Build is a trading name of RMA Developments Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15092175. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Our registered office is Unit C1 A, Poole Hall Road Industrial Estate, Ellesmere Port, CH66 1ST. Email contact@rmabuild.co.uk for privacy questions or requests.
What we collect and why
When you enquire, we collect your name, email, property postcode, type of work and message. If you send photos, plans or further details by email, we use those to understand the job too. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or other people's details unless they are needed and you are entitled to share them.
We use this information to answer your questions, discuss a quotation and arrange work. Providing it is your choice, but without enough information we may not be able to reply or assess the job. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to buying a service.
- For an individual asking about their own project, we process the enquiry to take steps towards a contract at their request.
- For business enquiries and general questions, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site and its enquiry service secure to prevent spam and investigate problems.
- Optional cross-page campaign tracking relies on your consent. You can refuse or withdraw it without losing access to the form.
We do not add enquirers to a marketing mailing list or sell personal information. The form does not make decisions about whether you can buy our services. Automated security checks may reject suspected spam; you can email us if the check stops your enquiry.
Page and campaign details
A submitted form includes its page, the enquiry link or project selected, the referring website's domain and any campaign labels in the current web address. We use this limited context to understand the enquiry and where it came from. If you choose Allow, we also remember the first page and campaign details as you move between pages for up to 30 minutes. These details are only sent to us with an enquiry. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics.
Security information
Our hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as network addresses and request information. Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and network signals, including IP address and browser information, to distinguish visitors from bots. Cloudflare also uses these signals to improve its bot detection, as explained in its Turnstile privacy notice. We do not save verification tokens with your enquiry.
Who receives information
Enquiries are stored through OpenAI Sites, using Cloudflare infrastructure, and emailed through Google Workspace to our RMA enquiries group. Authorised members of our team use them to respond. Mabi Labs, our website support provider, may access records to maintain the service or investigate a delivery problem. If a job needs input from a trade or specialist, we only share relevant information needed to assess or carry out that work. We may also disclose information where legally required.
Providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their published data-protection arrangements describe safeguards such as contractual clauses and the UK transfer addendum: OpenAI, Cloudflare and Google Workspace. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries while we respond, prepare a quotation or discuss the work. At closure, retention is based on whether work resulted and whether information is still needed for the contract, aftercare, a complaint, a dispute or a legal obligation. Information no longer needed for these purposes should be removed from both the website records and email copies through our record reviews. There is no automatic deletion of ongoing project records.
The site's rate limit uses a keyed hash of a network address, rather than storing the address in an enquiry. Those rate-limit records expire after an hour and are cleared on a subsequent form request. Browser storage periods are set out in the cookie notice.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw optional tracking consent through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Email us to make a request. We may need to check your identity before disclosing information. We normally respond within one month and do not charge a fee, subject to the exceptions allowed by law. If you are unhappy with our handling of your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
We will update this notice when the website or our use of information changes. Updated 28 October 2026.
